Former AC Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli is rumored to be joining Lazio in the summer of 2022.

Romagnoli joined Milan in 2015. He was picked up by the Rossoneri from AS Roma.

Romagnoli has also become a subscriber to AC Milan’s back line. In the end he was trusted to be the Rossoneri captain in the 2018-19 season.

He received the captain’s armband from Leonardo Bonucci. At that time Bonucci chose to return to Juventus after only defending Milan for one season.

Alessio Romagnoli’s future has been a question mark since last season. Because his contract at AC Milan expires in the summer of 2022.

In addition, Romagnoli is also no longer a starter subscription at Milan. He was evicted by the duo Fikayo Tomori and Pierre Kalulu.

There was news that he might join Juventus. But there is also speculation that he will move closer to Lazio.

But there are also reports claiming that Romagnoli may not be going anywhere. He will extend his contract at the San Siro.

As previously mentioned, Alessio Romagnoli is said to have wanted to join Lazio. The club was indeed the club he had supported since childhood.

Even though he grew up at AS Roma. Then there was news that Romagnoli admitted to a Lazio fan that he was ready to join the Biancoceleste in the 2022-23 season.

However, the news was later denied by Romagnoli. He issued a statement via Instagram Story.

“I don’t understand how a newspaper can invent, out of nowhere and without respect, such an expression,” wrote Romagnoli, via Football Italia.
