Bayern Munich will make a third bid for Liverpool forward Sadio Mane in the coming days.

Liverpool have rejected two Bayern Munich offers for Sadio Mane. Some reports have even stated that the proposals were ‘very ridiculous’.

Bayern initially offered £21m plus £4m in extra, while their second offer was worth around £23.5m plus £6.5m in addition.

According to German media Bild, the Bundesliga champions will launch a third approach for Sadio Mane. Bayern Munich are ready to submit a transfer proposal worth around £35 million.

Liverpool’s assistant sporting director, Julian Ward, has warned Bayern Munich’s Hasan Salihamidzic not to bother making an offer if it’s less than £40m.

Bild claim that Salihamidzic’s new bid will include an initial £30.15m, with an additional £4.31m in bonuses. While this is a bit less than Liverpool’s valuation, they may be ready to compromise and there is a feeling that this offer is acceptable.

Bayern Munich insists on signing Sadio Mane as soon as possible so he can join the pre-season. Because the Bundesliga usually starts earlier than other top European leagues.

Sky Sport’s Florian Plettenberg reports that Sadio Mane is interested in a move, and will only move, if he eventually moves from Liverpool, to Bayern Munich.

Still in the same report, Bayern Munich have offered the 30-year-old a three-year contract, which he is likely to accept. The Mirror also predicts that Mane will receive a salary of £360,000 per week.

Mane has enjoyed a very successful spell at Liverpool, scoring 120 goals in 269 appearances since arriving from Southampton in 2016 for £34m.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have got the signature of Darwin Nunez.

Many have speculated that Darwin Nunez is the successor to Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino. But not a few think that the departure of Divock Origi sparked these rumors.

Liverpool reportedly spent no less than 86 million pounds to bring Nunez from Benfica.
