Real Madrid are reportedly ready to release one of the players targeted by Manchester United (MU), attacking midfielder Marco Asensio. Los Blancos will not prevent Asensio’s departure to Manchester United in the summer of 2022.
Asensio’s name since a few weeks ago began to be associated with MU. Reportedly the new manager of the Red Devils Erik ten Hag really likes the game of this Spanish youth.
Manchester United will try to recruit Marco Asensio if his main target, Anthony from Ajax Amsterdam, fails to bring him to Old Trafford. Anthony’s price is relatively more expensive than Asensio.

MU itself will not make an offer for Asensio in the near future. Their focus at the moment is finalizing the moves for midfielder Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona and Feyenoord Rotterdam left-back Tyrell Malacia.
